How do you do it?

Four kids! Wow! How do you do it? Is a question that I get asked frequently. People see me with four kids, which to them seems like a circus but to me it seems as if their were just two.  After the second child it’s a breeze! I spoke a little about on my vlog which you can view here HelloRobinsons. This day in age having four kids is rare. In my family there is 3 of us. Statistics say the average family have 2.5 kids. What does that really mean? That you have 2 kids and one who you’re not too sure about. Come on you know we all have that one who you sometimes question “Is he really mine?”

I grew up watching Seventh Heaven, The Cosby show, and full house. These days I watch the Braxton family values and wish I had that many siblings. I watched those shows and I always felt the love there was always someone around when you needed them. I know that it they’re just TV shows and only one has that many family members in real life. But, that’s what I wanted I knew I wanted a big family since I was young. Luckily I found someone who wanted the same. Each of our kids were planned and we thank God every day for blessing us with them.

Yes they are all mine

Yes they are all mine

I don’t mind getting asked the question “How do you do it?” I do see that some people admire that I have a big family and just curious as to how I handle everyone’s schedule. The thing that bothers me is when the question “How do you do it?” becomes a “Why did you do it?” Some people feel that it is ok to say whatever they want to people and for them to be ok with it. News Flash!!!! It never has been! In the words of Stephanie Tanner “How rude!” So I try to take it with a grain of salt and just say “I just do it.”

It is so funny how in this day, having four kids is considered having a lot of kids! I think about how many kids both of our grandparents had, now that is a lot of kids, lol! Anyway, you’ve done a great job raising your kiddos thus far and I am sure you will continue to do so!
